The way you express what music means to you is so interesting. I don't listen to a lot of music. I work at home, so I could play anything I want, as loud as I want, but I usually choose to work in silence, just me, myself, and my inner voice. Occasionally I do put on some music (I prefer folk, show tunes, and 70s rock), but if I listen to too much, it gets stuck in my head and disrupts the inner voice.
